Restaurant – LaVaranda
Not in the mood for cooking? Why not try our restaurant? With a menu that offers something for everybody, our specialty remains, of course, seafood. From a simple fish & chips to our delicious seafood platter, we’ll make sure it is a taste experience you’ll not easy forget. The restaurant (Lavaranda) is open from 8:00 to 22:00 daily. The restaurant also has a television with DSTV in the bar area for all those sports fans. Try our adult shakes too!
Shop – Coco-loco
We have also added the convenience of a small shop to our facility. Here you may find all your basic necessities without the two hour round trip to Xai-Xai. These include Ice, charcoal, some groceries and snacks, and fresh bread. In the event that we do not stock what you need, we will do our utmost to find and supply you with your needs. And not to forget our local arts and crafts as well as souvenirs.
If you support local buying, we can, at a fee, buy most of your groceries locally and see that it is in your chalet upon your arrival. We need this list at least two weeks before arrival, depending on the availability and the extent of the list, as well as the volume. Fresh produce excluded.
Pool Area
Our pool area offers a welcome alternative to the beach when the tide becomes too high to swim or you just need to relax. The Pool area is restricted to residents only so relative privacy can be ensured. The area also includes a cocktail bar, a pool table and boma, Its close proximity to the restaurant makes ordering light meals easy and convenient. The Boma can also be rented for private functions.
Putt-Putt (Mini Golf)
For those windy or cooler days, the lodge offers an 18 hole putt-putt course for the whole family to enjoy. The course is open during the following hours:
Mon – Sat : 08:00 – 20:00
Sun : 09:00 – 15:00
Fishing
Various fishing possibilities are available in the surrounding areas of Nascer Do Sol. The natural reef in front of the lodge provides the perfect habitat for various species. For all these activities please supply your own bait and equipment. Rock and Surf Fishing Dropshot Fishing Fly Fishing
Fishing/Whale watching Charters
Deep sea fishing and whale watching charters are available in the area.

Conference facilities
Our conference center can seat up to 65 people at a time and is air conditioned for your comfort. As a standard we offer a white board (with white board markers) as well as a flip chart for your use.
